New Zealand APRC: Kreim retains lead as Gill suffers puncture
Asia-Pacific Rally Championship debutant Fabian Kreim continues to lead MRF teammate Gaurav Gill, after the second day of Rally Whangarei, in New Zealand. Kreim (co-driver Frank Christian) trailed Gill for much of Saturday’s running, until the latter’s Skoda R5 developed a puncture in the final stage of the day, losing 40 seconds as a result. Gill’s troubles allowed Kreim to retain his overall lead in Rally Whangarei, which currently stands at 4.6 seconds. “Unbelievable!
